Samaritans Purse is seeking a
Facilities Associate
to join our team of professionals who take care of the buildings and grounds at our Ministry Center located in
Charlotte, NC . As a member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the buildings and grounds remain presentable and in smooth working order at all times. This position supports the overall mission of Samaritans Purse which is to Proclaim the Gospel and to Serve with Excellence.
A Day In The Life Of a Facilities Associate At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.
In the role of
Facilities Associate , you will have the opportunity to:
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
Maintain the preventative maintenance (PM) schedule for all buildings and building systems as assigned
Keeps accurate records for maintenance and preventative maintenance programs
Reviews daily work lists with the Maintenance Supervisor through routine communications throughout the day
Develops and improves skills in all aspects of building maintenance through participation in approved training sessions
Maintains a safe work environment and follows all associated safety guidelines.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Ability to think critically, work with your hands and have general mechanical abilities
Knowledge in construction to include carpentry, electrical, and plumbing preferred
Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Attention to detail and high level of organization
