Overview
A well-established general contractor with a strong presence across Texas is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commercial and multifamily construction projects in the San Antonio market.
About the Role:
The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project execution — from preconstruction coordination through closeout — ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication skills, capable of managing client relationships, field teams, and subcontractors effectively.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of construction for commercial (institutional) and multifamily (wood-frame) projects
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and contracts
Collaborate closely with owners, architects, and the preconstruction team during early design phases
Lead on-site teams and foster strong subcontractor partnerships
Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications
Provide regular reporting and updates to senior leadership and clients
Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial and/or multifamily projects (multifamily is a must, institutional is a plus)
Proven track record leading projects from start to finish
Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and subcontractor management
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Compensation Base pay range: $115,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr
