Overview We are seeking a Sr. Supervisor Manufacturing to lead production operations, drive quality, and support continuous improvement on the SMT line and related manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Assign and supervise the work of production employees to meet all quality requirements and production schedules
Coordinate with the Operations Manager to understand current demands and upcoming needs of the organization
Identify obstacles to stated goals and seek assistance from management, engineers, and/or maintenance to resolve roadblocks
Select and develop personnel to ensure efficient operation of the production floor; communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise and review job contributions
Maintain production records for production counts and standard hours
Setup and operate assigned production equipment aiming to achieve goals for quality, efficiency and productivity
Follow established safety, quality and production improvement goals
Supervise daily SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production operations, ensuring efficient and compliant assembly
Provide hands-on support in programming, setup, and operation of SMT equipment (e.g., stencil printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI)
Collaborate with process and quality engineering to develop, optimize, and validate SMT programs for new and legacy space products
Ensure all SMT processes comply with IPC J-STD-001, IPC-610, and other space-grade workmanship standards
Lead root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations for SMT-related quality issues; drive process improvements for yield and reliability
Maintain and manage preventive maintenance schedules, calibration records, and process documentation for all SMT line equipment
Train and mentor operators and technicians on ESD control and equipment operation
Coordinate with planning and materials teams to ensure on-time delivery of builds and support for NPI and prototype runs
Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of experience in people management. Minimum four (4) years of experience in electronics manufacturing
Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures
SMT Equipment Programming & Troubleshooting
Hi-Rel / Class K Manufacturing Standards
Process Validation & Continuous Improvement
Root Cause & Corrective Action
High School Diploma or GED

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. You must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s) as required by law.
Pay Range: $83,805 - $104,756 annually. Pay within the posted range may vary based on location, job function, education, and experience.
