Millwright Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating welding equipment, monitoring welding processes, and providing assistance as needed throughout the facility.
Responsibilities Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment. Operate welding equipment using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux‑cored arc, plasma arc, shield metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of materials. Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned. Report equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance or repair to the supervisor. Maintain all shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment and replace as needed.
Essential Skills Experience with electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, and welding operations. Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing repairs. Industrial troubleshooting and maintenance skills. Experience with pneumatics, installation, and maintenance repair. Ability to conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications Heavy industrial maintenance experience. Flux core welding experience. Experience with hand and power tools. Electrical experience.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 / yr. Sick time, vacation, holidays, etc.
