Medical Assistant - Hawaii Kai, Family Practice
The Straub Hawai‘i Kai Family Health Center covers 12,000 square feet of patient care area and offers women's health services, adult primary care, pediatric care and specialty care. The center provides services in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury for infants, children, adolescents and adults. We cover the entire age range from birth to end of life/geriatric care, including specialty care available in internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, dermatology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, ophthalmology, rheumatology and urology. As a Medical Assistant in our Family Practice, you will join the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide compassionate health services to patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities at Straub Hawai‘i Kai. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i. Location:

Medical Support Staff Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. CMA or ABR-OE, RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CMAC, CCMA or other recognized credentials as listed; current American Heart Association BLS CPR; ability to complete departmental competency assessment by orientation period. Preferred Experience:
Six (6) months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of CPT and/or ICD-10 coding. Experience with electronic medical records.
