Kellanova . As a Senior National Account Executive for the Frozen portfolio at Kroger, you will lead strategic initiatives that drive profitable growth across high-volume categories. Success in this role depends on your ability to leverage data, think strategically, and deliver customer-focused solutions that support revenue goals for both Kellanova and Kroger. This position is based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area and includes eligibility for the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement Program for employees who drive at least 5,000 business miles annually. Responsibilities
Developing Accounts – Serve as the primary liaison for category buyers, leading the creation and execution of annual Joint Business Plans. Drive brand growth through merchandising, promotions, advertising, shelf optimization, pricing, innovation, and omnichannel strategies. Strategic Partnership Building – Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Promote collaboration, seek feedback, and proactively address customer needs to strengthen long-term partnerships. Insight-Driven Planning – Leverage shopper and consumer insights to develop 3–5 year customer strategies. Create and revise plans based on pre- and post-promotion performance and adjust future programs as necessary. Budget & Financial Management – Achieve key profit and loss metrics through delivering account-level priorities, JBP commitments, distribution gains, and participation in both demand and trade strategy/planning. Monitor spending and drive ROI through strategic investment and promotional planning. Understanding of Customer Service/Order to Delivery – Act as the central point of contact between buyers, demand chain, and delivery teams. Ensure accurate order quantities, timely delivery, and seamless communication until product receipt. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred) Experience in sales, marketing, category management, trade marketing, or revenue growth management Strong background in CPG retail sales with demonstrated success in overseeing major national accounts Proven success in Kroger account management or similar top-tier retailers Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L ownership Superior written and verbal communication skills and advanced negotiation skills Extensive experience in syndicated data tools (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, 84.51°) to uncover insights and drive decisions Ability to thrive with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range is $144,200-$189,210 which is based on location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death & dismemberment insurance, employee assistance program, short-term disability coverage, and long-term disability insurance. Also, voluntary income protection benefits such as supplemental life, accident as well as a 401(k) plan with company contributions is available.
