CT Technologist (Multi-Modality) Full Time Night with NO CALL REQUIRED

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center (LWRMC) seeks a CT Technologist in multi-modality to join our Radiology/Imaging team. This is a full-time night position with no on-call required.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic procedures in more than one modality or two specialties within the same modality with independence and appropriate judgment.

Adhere to all regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., The Joint Commission, American College of Radiology).

Follow hospital policies and procedures; demonstrate leadership, organization, and strong communication.

Interact professionally with clinical personnel, medical staff, and the public; maintain computer literacy and basic management applications.

Job Overview The Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging Department. This position performs diagnostic procedures with skill and requires independent judgment in more than one modality or two specialties within the same modality.

Qualifications

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Diploma/Certification from a certified school of primary imaging modality.

One or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultrasound Technologist; acute care experience preferred.

Six months of experience in two or more modalities (e.g., CT, MR, IR, NM, US, or Cath Lab); acute care experience preferred.

Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure if required by state.

Current ARRT license required or must be obtained within 12 months of start date and maintained thereafter.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
