Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Healthcare Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of healthcare construction projects in the Jacksonville area. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare environments, ICRA protocols, and construction best practices within active medical facilities. You will oversee all phases of project execution—from preconstruction to closeout—ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with applicable healthcare regulations and facility protocols. Base pay range

Healthcare Project Manager – Construction Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of healthcare construction projects ranging from medical office build-outs to large hospital expansions or renovations Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment with clinical needs and compliance standards Implement and enforce ICRA procedures, infection control barriers, and interim life safety measures to minimize risk in active healthcare settings Oversee preconstruction planning, including budgeting, scheduling, and procurement strategies Ensure compliance with all applicable codes (AHCA, NFPA, FGI) and facility-specific standards Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports Lead weekly project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders Maintain and monitor schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or Primavera Perform risk assessments and proactively resolve issues related to site access, safety, patient impact, or schedule deviations Coordinate phased construction plans in live clinical environments with minimal disruption to patient care Requirements

5+ years of construction project management experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare construction Strong knowledge of ICRA requirements and infection control standards in occupied healthcare facilities Experience managing AHCA-inspected projects is a plus Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) Strong knowledge of local and national building codes applicable to healthcare Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred OSHA 30 certification and familiarity with Joint Commission standards are strongly preferred Why Join Us?
