Position Summary
We are seeking a Chemical Laboratory Manager to support our advanced R&D and manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and organized chemical-handling areas while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. Responsibilities
Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) records for all chemicals. Oversee chemical purchasing and provide safety consultations for new projects. Manage chemical waste handling and disposal. Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including: gas chromatography (GC), high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), UV-Vis spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, TGA, DSC. Contribute to applied R&D projects by supporting experimental design and execution. Qualifications
Education:
BS in Chemistry preferred, OR AS in Chemistry plus 3+ years of laboratory/chemical hygiene experience
Experience & Skills:
Hands-on laboratory experience required Familiarity with chemical hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance Strong organizational and documentation skills
Other Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship (required by ITAR regulations) GPA > 3.3 at all degree levels
