Seeking a Senior Associate level professional to support the acquisitions function in the Western US. Responsibilities will include evaluating and analyzing acquisition opportunities across the commercial real estate sector including analyzing offering materials, preparing financial projections, creating and maintaining acquisition models, preparing investment committee submissions, presenting findings to senior acquisitions team and investment committee, assisting in due diligence investigation, and assisting in the closing process. Primary Responsibilities
Underwrite and analyze potential acquisitions by using complex ARGUS and Excel cash flow projection models. Communicate with investment sales brokers, developers, and operators to identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities. Evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for potential acquisitions. Oversee the preparation of acquisition investment briefs and related support material. Coordinate and support the due diligence process, including legal, financial, and physical reviews. Provide support for acquisition financing. Maintain acquisition pipeline in Pereview. Report to Head of US Acquisitions and Acquisition Originators. Qualifications
3+ years of commercial real estate investment analysis or valuation experience. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a business, finance or real estate emphasis. Advanced proficiency in ARGUS and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with commercial leases, purchase agreements, joint venture structuring/modeling, and loan documentation. Strong quantitative and analytical background Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly organized Must be able to work independently while still functioning well in a team Develop strong and effective relationships both internally and externally Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage to aggressive deadlines Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Excellent problem solving skills Willing to travel Requisites
