From VMI to procurement, PTSolutions is a full-service provider that will be with our customers every step of the way. We’re looking to add Outside Sales Representative to our team to support our growth in the Seattle market. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with our customers in your assigned territory. As a member of the PTSolutions team, you can build upon the strong reputation that our company has within the industry and provide products to our customers that meet and exceed their requirements.
Responsibilities
Develops new business relationships with potential & existing customers and meet KPIs regarding prospecting & closing deals.
Understands customer business models and product needs.
Crafts solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements.
Prospect new clients in assigned territory.
Works to expand sales with existing clients.
Act as a subject matter expert on all product lines.
Provide reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth.
Respond to RFQs as necessary.
Work closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met.
Pursue VMI opportunities.
Notify customers of signature brand products.
Work with core supplier target account programs by scheduling sales calls and presentations.
Maintain established margin objectives.
Encourage customer website usage.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
CNC Machining experience, or
Industrial distribution or supply chain experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Outside Sales experience is required
Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Demonstrated experience managing and growing sales territory
Ability to quickly build relationships with key decision makers in client organizations
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organization
Plans and organizes tasks & work responsibilities to achieve goals while remaining calm & professional under pressure
Proficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office & Teams
Location & Status This position is based in the Seattle, WA area, so only candidates residing in the Seattle area will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
