Your impact includes working with the Building Mechanical team to deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our heavy industrial clients. What you’ll do

Layout and design of HVAC systems Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selecting systems, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements Development of final construction documents for HVAC systems (e.g., chilled water, cooling water) Coordinate with other disciplines and work with engineers and designers to deliver projects You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to meet client needs. Your role keeps Jacobs connected, and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful. Responsibilities

Perform field investigations and interface with clients and vendors Size and select equipment for HVAC systems Prepare construction design packages Ensure quality and timely delivery of design documents Qualifications

At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities Proficiency in Revit Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems Benefits and policies
