Jacobs is building a high-impact HVAC design team focused on delivering innovative solutions for heavy industrial clients. The Senior HVAC Designer will lead the design of mechanical systems, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary group, and ensure technical quality and schedule adherence. Base pay range
Base pay range: $102,900.00 / yr - $135,075.00 / yr Responsibilities
Lead the layout and mechanical design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Develop conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Prepare final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, and other HVAC systems. Coordinate with other disciplines and vendors to integrate mechanical designs into the overall project. Maintain schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Qualifications
At least ten (10) years' experience designing HVAC systems for industrial facilities. Proficiency in Revit and strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards. Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines. Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely. Software experience in AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D (preferred). Experience in designing plumbing / utility systems (preferred). Benefits
