Title : Production Manager - Bakery Operations Job Summary : Seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead daily operations across multiple production departments within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving performance, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and fostering a culture of accountability and respect. Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate daily production activities to meet goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Maintain production standards and implement cost-effective processes and technology improvements. Monitor operating costs, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure strong communication and positive employee relations. Identify skill gaps, build team capabilities, and support ongoing training and development. Contribute to budgeting, planning, and long-term growth initiatives. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and food quality standards (OSHA, FDA, GMP, HACCP). Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in food manufacturing. 5+ years of leadership experience in a bakery or food production environment. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Strong communication and organizational skills with a hands-on, results-driven approach. Knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and regulatory compliance requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
