Fleet Upfit Assessment and Improvement Oversee upfitted equipment (toolboxes, lighting, racks) and ensure configurations meet operational and safety requirements. Periodically assess vehicle configurations and collaborate with internal department leaders to identify equipment enhancements that improve productivity and safety. Coordinate with vendors for installation and testing of new upfits, ensuring consistency and compliance across fleet units. Use data to inform capital expenditure forecasts and operational budgeting for the Senior VP of Operations and VP of Accounting. Compliance and Safety Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with applicable federal, state, and company standards for safety and environmental impact. Partner with HR and Risk teams to perform regular Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reviews, ensuring drivers maintain eligibility for company driving responsibilities. Partner with the company’s Safety Manager to lead fleet safety programs, track incident metrics, and identify opportunities for risk mitigation.
