Here is what you will be doing each day: As a Banquet Cook, you will prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards. Start items prepared ahead of time while avoiding over-preparation. Date all food containers and rotate as per Crescent standards, keeping perishables at proper temperatures. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull, and line setup. Note out-of-stock items or possible shortages. Keep buffets stocked. Assist in planning actions to control food cost, reduce waste and monitor usage per Crescent standards. Operate, maintain and clean the deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill. Qualifications and attributes: You have a passion for culinary arts and a drive to provide an amazing guest experience. You are flexible with shifts, including days, evenings and weekends. You are organized and manage time effectively. You value open teamwork and strive for high standards.
