installation, maintenance, and repair
of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role ensures optimal indoor climate control in primarily commercial, office, retail, and industrial settings, (minor residential work), while complying with safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities
Install HVAC systems including ductwork, thermostats, and refrigeration units Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions using specialized tools Perform routine maintenance such as filter changes, coil cleaning, and refrigerant checks Repair or replace defective components like compressors, motors, and valves Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Ensure compliance with local building codes and EPA regulations Maintain accurate service records and inventory of parts Respond to emergency repair calls and perform warranty services Collaborate with clients and contractors to assess HVAC needs and recommend solutions Qualifications
Valid HVAC Class A or B license and EPA Section 608 Certification High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or associate degree preferred 3+ years of experience in HVAC installation and repair Strong understanding of refrigeration theory, electrical systems, and safety protocols Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or extreme temperatures Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Seniority level
