The firm is seeking a

Civil EIT (Engineer in Training)

to join their growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven, technically minded professional who wants to learn directly from experienced PEs and work on impactful municipal infrastructure projects. As part of a smaller, collaborative team, you’ll have hands-on exposure to all aspects of civil design and project development — from initial planning and modeling to final construction documents. This position is ideal for someone eager to build a strong foundation toward licensure and long-term career growth within a respected local firm. Key Responsibilities

Assist Professional Engineers with the design and production of civil engineering plans and reports. Prepare preliminary and final utility, paving, grading, and drainage plans using

AutoCAD Civil 3D . Perform calculations, quantity take-offs, and plan preparation under the guidance of senior engineers. Support municipal infrastructure design projects, including water/wastewater systems, roadways, and storm drainage. Conduct field investigations and assist with construction phase support as needed. Collaborate with peers and mentors to ensure high-quality project deliverables. Participate in project meetings and client coordination efforts. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

required. EIT certification

(or ability to obtain within 6 months). 0–4 years of relevant civil engineering experience. Proficiency with

AutoCAD Civil 3D

and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills. Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Prior internship or coursework related to municipal infrastructure design preferred. Why Join?
