We’re hiring an Avionics Engineer to support the design, integration, testing, and maintenance of hypersonic aircraft electrical and avionics systems. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and includes software support. Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in aerospace systems. Responsibilities
Design and test avionics and electrical systems Support software for data analysis Maintain wiring diagrams, CAD models, and documentation Collaborate with subsystem leads to define requirements and test plans Analyze system performance and ensure compliance with program goals Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and external partners Support ground and flight testing Communicate regularly with Avionics Lead Contribute to integration of complex aerospace systems Qualifications
Required: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or related field 2–10 years of engineering experience (depending on level) Experience with power systems, Ethernet networks, instrumentation, and flight vehicle troubleshooting Strong documentation and communication skills Proficiency in C/C++, Python, XML, and MS Office Preferred: Experience with experimental vehicle avionics and data systems Familiarity with IEEE 802.3, IRIG-106, and Mission Control operations Security clearance On-site in Mojave, CA Travel
