Transmission Line Engineer | Remote | $130K–$150K | Powering the Future of Energy We’re seeking an experienced Transmission Line Engineer to lead the design and analysis of high-voltage transmission systems (69 kV – 500 kV and above). This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept through construction — developing line layouts, performing structural and electrical analyses, and ensuring designs meet the highest safety and regulatory standards. In this role, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical direction and problem-solving support throughout each project lifecycle. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and modernization of the power grid that keeps our communities running. What You’ll Do
Lead design and analysis of transmission lines from 69 kV to 500 kV + Develop line layouts, structure spotting, and material specifications Perform structural and electrical analyses using industry tools Ensure compliance with NESC, IEEE, and ASCE standards Partner cross-functionally with project managers, civil, and electrical teams to deliver safe, efficient solutions What We’re Looking For
3–7 years of experience in transmission line design Proficiency in PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD Strong understanding of NESC, IEEE, and ASCE standards Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred (or ability to obtain) Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Why Join Us
