Overview
Manager Credit Card Risk at City National Bank. The role will manage account and credit line strategies for existing consumer and commercial card portfolios and forecast/analyze credit card delinquency, roll rates and losses. The position will optimize account and line management processes through complex analytics and develop credit risk modeling, predictive credit risk modeling, scoring and analytics to support credit risk, collections, fraud, sales and marketing functions. What will you do?
Enhance credit card portfolio performance by analyzing portfolio trends, credit score cutoffs, loss trends, portfolio dynamics and bureau scoring criteria. Develop complex program models to extract data and use databases to provide statistical and financial modeling to minimize risk and reduce charge-offs. Understand data relevant to Line units and set strategies accordingly. Assist in developing a new consumer credit card program, including the No Pre-Set Spending Limit (NPSL) feature from Visa. Identify cardholders for upgrading and provide active account management. Coordinate production of performance reports for senior management. Effectively communicate performance results, updates and key initiatives to senior risk management personnel. Design, develop and implement account management strategies and develop metrics and reporting to assess effectiveness in reducing and optimizing management of credit card charge-offs. Ensure appropriate quality controls related to the financial products the bank provides, services delivered, processes employed and incentives for colleagues. Uphold ethical standards and client-first culture in all City National products and services in line with the PRIDE statement. What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 8 years of experience analyzing credit card portfolios 6 years experience with SQL and relationship databases Previous experience implementing Visa Signature NPSL program Additional Qualifications
Masters degree and at least nine years of experience analyzing credit card portfolios preferred Extensive experience in risk policy, analytic and segmentation/targeting strategies using credit bureau and demographic data Strong analytical and problem solving skills; experience in Credit Policy development and risk management strategies is a plus Extensive knowledge of SQL and databases such as BRIO and Access; knowledge of FIS and/or TSYS preferred; MS Office proficiency Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, leadership, project/process management and communication skills; results-driven Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, quick to learn new skills, and able to work in a collaborative environment Compensation and Benefits
Starting base salary: $122,535 - $208,715 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Eligible for bonus and/or commissions. Benefits
