Naperville, IL | Hybrid (3 days in office) Compensation:
Up to $115K base Reports To:
Corporate Accounting Manager Global distributor of premium consumer products. The company has grown from $300M to $2.5B since 2010 through both organic expansion and $350M+ in acquisitions over the last two years. This is a fast-paced, evolving environment where process-minded accounting professionals can make their mark, influence change, and grow with the organization. What You Will Do Prepare month-end journal entries for corporate and central functions, including marketing, insurance, prepaids, IT, HR, intercompany, allocations, accruals, and reserves. Perform and analyze account reconciliations for assigned areas. Conduct financial statement variance analysis and follow up on corrections and resolutions. Maintain organized, accurate, and complete accounting records in accordance with GAAP and internal controls. Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, HR, IT, etc.) to support strong processes and financial controls. Support continuous improvement and shorter close timelines by leveraging technology, standard operating procedures, and process automation. Assist with internal and external financial statement audits. Participate in technology upgrades, business initiatives, acquisitions, and special projects as assigned. Research and assist with implementation of technical accounting matters. Document policies, procedures, and workflow for areas of responsibility. Support and assist the Corporate Accounting Manager with additional duties as needed. Ideal Background CPA or CPA-eligible required 3+ years of experience
