Horizon House is a vibrant Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located in the heart of downtown Seattle, providing a full spectrum of services and care for residents aged 62 and better. Since opening in 1961, Horizon House has promoted creativity, individuality, and an active lifestyle. Our community offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Support, ensuring that residents can enjoy an engaged and purposeful life while receiving the care they need. As a Life Plan Community, Horizon House is committed to meeting the changing care needs of its residents, allowing them to always call Horizon House home. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assisted Living Assistant Administrator based in Seattle, WA. The Assisted Living Assistant Administrator will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the Assisted Living unit, coordinating staff schedules, and ensuring residents receive high-quality care and services. They will also manage budgeting, assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. The role requires close collaboration with the senior living community to foster a warm and welcoming environment. Qualifications
Experience in Independent Living, Senior Living Communities, and Long-term Care Strong communication skills in verbal and written formats, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff Knowledge of budgeting and financial management Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage daily operations in an assisted living setting Qualifications beneficial to the role include a bachelor\'s degree in healthcare administration, gerontology, or a related field Experience with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in senior living communities Job Details
