The Opportunity Are you a career oriented Human Resources Professional looking to expand your expertise in the field? This is an opportunity for early career HR professionals to grow in a supportive environment.

You will work with the EBHR team in supporting client companies throughout California as well as in other states delivering generalist services including:

Leaves of absence

Benefits administration and enrollment

Performance reviews, administration, and support

Creation of tailored company policies and development of employee handbooks

FLSA/DLSE exemption audits and classification

Employee relations issues

Delivery of compliance training and coaching to leaders and employees (harassment prevention, supervisor skills, wage and hour basics)

Recruitment

Other HR areas, including compensation, HRIS, legal compliance, I-9 audits, etc.

The EBHR team works with clients on-site, by telephone/videoconference, or by email depending on clients’ needs.

About You You are a career-minded Human Resources Professional (bilingual in Spanish a plus) interested in growing by working with multiple companies and industries providing customized consulting services. We seek self-starters who work well alone as well as within a team, managing client projects skillfully, safeguarding sensitive information, and making a positive impact on organizations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or current HRCI or SHRM certification AND 6 months - 2 years of HR/people operations experience

Strong organizational skills and ability to switch between clients/projects

Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws

Ability to work independently and assess complex situations to reach well-reasoned conclusions

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Customer-focused, ownership mentality

Unquestionable integrity

Knowledge of or aptitude for HRIS, Payroll, and Timekeeping systems (e.g., BambooHR, ADP Run, Kronos, Paycor)

Willingness to travel to a co-working space in Bellflower and client locations in Los Angeles and Orange Counties as needed

What We Offer EBHR offers a flexible work arrangement (regularly work from home after training, typically ~3 months), competitive pay, healthcare stipend, 401(k) match, mobile phone reimbursement, paid vacation, sick leave and holidays, company-paid professional development, and a supportive team environment.

Title and pay will depend on experience and skills.

The pay range is $23.00 to $31.25 per hour and reflects applicants of varying experience and skill levels. EBHR embraces diversity and prioritizes inclusion.
