Responsibilities
Promotes products by scheduling sales calls with current and potential customers (surgeons and hospital staff) to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives. Develops and implements sales strategies by determining needs (clinical, economic, etc.) of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell the company’s products in the OR. Creates action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) for territory by analyzing contract access, sales figures and reports to identify trends and opportunities. Navigate and excel in the OR to provide product support to surgeons and hospital personnel. Focus areas include Lower Extremity, Plastics, Vascular, Ortho Trauma and Ortho Oncology. Target events and opportunities to engage multiple surgeons within a specialty using corporate resources. Demonstrate a customer-first approach to deliver high-quality customer service and patient satisfaction. Respond to customer needs with timely, compliant, and creative product and services solutions. Build and maintain relationships with decision makers across sites of care to create long-term customers. Educate customers on the safe and effective use of company products through presentations and demonstrations across multiple formats and platforms. Collaborate with national accounts and reimbursement teams to support physicians, accounts prescribing our products and their billing departments. Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, product inventory, and territory sales forecasts. Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive activities with a strong knowledge of the local market. Collaborate with direct reporting manager to determine resources needed to achieve sales objectives for all clients. Provide tradeshow support and help drive attendance with surgeons in the territory. Education/Experience
B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent) required 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales OR sales experience Work Environment
Field-based position with travel 80-90% of the time within the assigned territory. When at a customer site, follow appropriate dress code and adhere to credentialing and registration requirements, including vaccination requirements. Must be physically capable of standing for long hours in the Operating Room during cases. About Acera Surgical
