Responsibilities

Promote products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers (surgeons and hospitals) to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the needs (clinical, economic, etc.) of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell the company’s products in the OR.

Create action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) for territory by analyzing contract access, sales figures, and reports to identify trends and opportunities.

Provide product support to surgeons and hospital personnel in the OR, focusing on lower extremity, plastics, vascular, orthopedic trauma, and orthopedic oncology.

Target events and opportunities to engage multiple surgeons within a specialty using corporate resources.

Demonstrate a customer‑first mentality, delivering consistently high service levels.

Respond to customer needs with creative solutions in a timely and compliant manner.

Build and maintain relationships with decision makers at all sites to create long‑term customers.

Educate customers on safe and effective use of products through presentations and demonstrations.

Collaborate with national accounts and reimbursement teams to support physicians and prescribing accounts.

Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, inventory, and forecast.

Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive activities.

Work with the direct reporting manager to determine resources needed to achieve objectives.

Support trade‑show participation and drive attendance with surgeons from the territory.

Qualifications

B.A. or B.S. (or equivalent) required.

5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales.

Operating room sales experience preferred.

Work Environment

Field‑based position with 80–90% travel within the assigned territory.

At customer sites, follow dress code and credentialing requirements, including vaccination.

Physically capable of standing for long hours in the OR during cases.
