Overview
Trustee Services Group LLC is looking for a well-respected experienced professional to serve as Vice President of Fiduciary Services to manage existing Trust client relationships and to assist with the stewardship of its rapidly expanding practice and client base in the Denver area. About Trustee Services Group Established in 2012, with the home office in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Trustee Services Group LLC (TSG) is a boutique professional services firm specializing in estate fiduciary and trustee services. TSG has two lines of business: Estate Fiduciary Service – Under our DBA Estate Services Group, we serve as Executor / Personal Representative (Will), Successor Trustee (Revocable Living Trust) and Financial Agent (Durable Power of Attorney) in serving families during times of incapacity and upon the passing of a loved one. TSG has hundreds of “deferred clients” (families that have named TSG within their estate plan to serve as set forth above). Trustee Services – TSG also serves as Trustee on all types of irrevocable trusts, including but not limited to Family Legacy Trusts, SLATs, Supplemental Needs Trusts, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Lead Trusts, Charitable Foundations and Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a professional with a solid reputation and experience in the estate and/or wealth services industries. Strong relationship skills fueled by an intense desire to deliver timely excellence in client services is a must. The ideal candidate thrives on serving clients and working collaboratively with the TSG team, attorneys, financial advisors, and CPAs. An understanding of and experience in helping families successfully navigate the various and unique complexities of generational wealth is also beneficial. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, responsible individual who can work independently and thrive in an environment where time management, communication, attention to detail and timely follow-through are critical. A proven strong character and desire to work in a team environment is required. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for professional advisors and trust / estate clients. Provide personalized service and maintain strong relationships with professional advisors, beneficiaries and wealth holders. Educate and equip professional advisors, beneficiaries and wealth holders to make informed decisions regarding the generational wealth. Trust Administration Manage and administer trust accounts. Ensure compliance with fiduciary responsibilities and trust documents. Stay current with trust laws, tax regulations, and fiduciary standards. Collaboratively work with tax professionals to ensure accurate reporting. Maintain accurate records of trust transactions, communications, and decision making. Work with the TSG team to prepare reports for clients and internal stakeholders as needed. Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping to protect the trust and its stakeholders. Coordinate with investment advisors to ensure trust assets are managed appropriately. Monitor performance and ensure alignment with the trust’s objectives. Professional Advisor Relationships Develop and maintain strong relationships with attorneys, financial advisors and other professional partners Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities that align with organization goals. Serve as a liaison between TSG and external professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. Represent the company at networking events, conferences and industry functions. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) or other advanced degree or related certification preferred Desired Technical & Professional Skills
Experience with Trusts and Estates Understanding of Taxes and Investments Experience with Family Foundations (Donor Advised Funds & Private Foundations) and charitable tax planning is a bonus Communication: Clear and professional verbal and written communication with clients, beneficiaries, and professional advisors (legal, financial and tax). Relationship Management: Ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders. Conflict Resolution: Skilled in handling sensitive situations and resolving disputes diplomatically. Organizational & Analytical Skills
Attention to Detail: Precision in managing legal documents, financial records, and client communications Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to address complex trust, tax and/or investment issues. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple accounts efficiently. Microsoft Office Suite: especially Excel, Word, and Outlook for reporting and documentation. Document Management Systems: Familiarity with digital filing and compliance tracking tools. Trustee Services Group currently uses Citrix for its document retention and WealthHub (built on Salesforce) as its Trust Administration and CRM platform For those with proven success and current experience as a Trust Officer, TSG offers a unique revenue sharing model which allows the VP of Fiduciary Services to financially benefit from well-serving client relationships. Initial starting salary range between $100,000 – $120,000 plus bonus, depending upon experience.
