Lead, manage, direct and support the work of the Foundation, including its staff and initiatives. Collaborate with the Foundation Board to implement a comprehensive fund development program (annual giving, capital campaigns, alumni events and major gift fundraising). Work with the President’s leadership team to support strategic growth initiatives. Oversee foundation operations, fiduciary obligations and the strategic plan; ensure compliance with applicable regulations and Foundation policies. Manage relationships with the Foundation Board of Directors, College Board of Trustees and Program Advisory Boards; cultivate volunteer leadership for board development, events and campaigns. Identify and cultivate prospective major gift donors; manage donor engagement strategies and maintain database records compliantly. Direct and support Foundation staff in translating program priorities into action plans and gift opportunities aligned with donor interests. Collaborate with high-level volunteers, faculty, and executive staff to identify, cultivate and solicit prospects (individuals, foundations, corporations). Develop cultivation and solicitation strategies and policies for volunteers, faculty/staff and the college President; oversee follow-up and stewardship activities. Coordinate solicitation, marketing and publication materials with the Director of Donor Experience and Alumni Engagement. Coordinate events and activities for alumni and donor stewardship and cultivation with Foundation staff. Oversee administration of gifts to the Foundation through bequests, trusts, life insurance or other vehicles to benefit the Foundation’s future. Maintain knowledge of tax law, finance and trends in philanthropy; ensure Foundation Scholarship Program compliance and donor agreements are up to date. Perform other related duties as assigned. This is a full-time 12-month, Management Confidential position with a salary range of $145,000.00–$170,000.00. Qualifications

Education (Minimum Requirements): Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; master’s degree preferred, with five to seven years of direct experience soliciting major gifts and board management, preferably in an academic environment. Excellent fund development, institutional advancement, supervisory and board development skills; ability to articulate the goals and mission of the institution to multiple constituencies; collaborative, team-oriented style with strong strategic planning and judgment in sensitive situations. Outstanding communication skills, including writing and speaking; ability to interact tactfully with a diverse set of stakeholders. Experience leading and developing a dynamic integrated fundraising operation with overlapping workstreams (annual giving, capital campaigns, scholarships, planned giving) and donor-engagement focused cultivation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a complex organization; willingness to travel and attend evening/weekend events. Employment Experience Preferred: Demonstrated success in cultivating and soliciting major gifts or professional outside sales with lead generation and closing; Foundation or non-profit Board experience preferred; experience with donor management systems (e.g., Razors Edge, Banner, Academic Works) or equivalents. Compensation and Benefits

Full-time, 12-month Management Confidential position; salary $145,000.00–$170,000.00.
