Senior Software Engineer - 2025117 Onsite/Remote:

Onsite Position Your Responsibilities Work on Agile delivery team responsible for design, develop, and test code required to deliver desired functionality Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to ensure features meet business needs Perform feasibility analysis, estimation, and requirements elicitation to develop the solution aligned with requirements, timelines, and business goals Design fault-tolerant, highly available and scalable applications using modern technologies and cloud-based architecture Modernize legacy systems via current state assessment, disposition and future state planning, roadmaps, and phased migrations Review production support issues, perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis Suggest solutions, fixes and workarounds and implement them with stakeholders informed Manage incident processes to ensure issues are recorded, tracked, resolved, and followed up in a timely manner Take ownership of issues reported by customers and ensure resolution or escalation with relevant data in a timely manner Ensure compliance with end-to-end incident management process and SOPs Support end users in solving data issues and build AI models for applications maintenance during US hours in production environment 10% remote work allowed What Skills You Need 5 years of experience in mainframe technologies (COBOL, SAS, JCL, IMS, DB2, REXX/CLIST, CICS, EASYTRIEVE, CA ESP, PANvalet, IBM Z/OS Connect) 3 years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies 3 years of experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Drone, GitHub Actions) 3 years of experience with Java web development using Spring and RESTful APIs 3 years of experience with JavaScript development using ReactJS, Redux, HTML, and CSS 3 years of experience with TDD and ATDD using JUnit and Mockito 2 years of experience in AWS or similar cloud technologies to modernize Supply Chain web applications Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years related experience What You'll Get John Deere offers an inclusive environment with opportunities to explore new projects and use advanced tools and technology.
