Seeking an
experienced OpCenter Architect
with deep expertise in
Siemens Opcenter Discrete Solutions . The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end architecture, implementation, and integration of the
Opcenter MOM platform
across manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring both
technical and functional leadership , especially in the
Discrete Manufacturing domain . Must Have Technical & Functional Skills
Hands-on experience
implementing
Opcenter Discrete Solution
for a plant. Strong understanding of
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
lifecycle using
Siemens Opcenter Discrete . Expertise in
Opcenter Execution Discrete Solution Architecture
and
Closed Loop Manufacturing (PLM & ERP) . Deep knowledge of
Discrete Manufacturing business processes , particularly
complex assembly manufacturing . Experience with
APIs, middleware, messaging queues , and
enterprise integration patterns . Skilled in
Opcenter Discrete Modules
such as Opcenter EX FN, APS, MOM Connect, IPL, Tableau, and Mendix. Experience with
MES upgrades
and
integration
with external systems (ERP, PLM, HMI, Equipment, etc.). Knowledge of
OPC-UA ,
PLC/SCADA interfacing , and
computer system validation processes . Domain expertise in
Manufacturing
(Aerospace industry experience preferred). Strong proficiency in
SQL
and working knowledge of
Agile frameworks . Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with customer stakeholders to design and implement solutions based on the
Siemens Opcenter MOM platform . Perform
techno-functional analysis , impact assessment, and provide efficient solutions for business requirements. Lead
requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis , and
solution blueprinting
for Opcenter projects. Provide
product and technical guidance
to the project team, mentoring junior engineers. Develop integration requirements between
MES, ERP, PLM, and shop-floor systems . Participate in
coding and configuration
of Opcenter Discrete modules. Oversee
quality assurance , governance, scheduling, and project planning activities. Coordinate with
manufacturing sites
to contextualize shop floor operations and align solutions with business goals. Support
continuous improvement initiatives
and
MES Center of Excellence (COE)
collaborations. Ensure seamless
system operations, upgrades, and implementations
in coordination with the product team. Preferred Experience
Prior experience working with
Aerospace Discrete Manufacturing clients . Experience in
leading cross-functional teams
across onshore/offshore models. Proven ability to handle
large-scale digital manufacturing transformations . Seniority level
