Inside Sales & Marketing Automation Specialist must be both analytical and results-oriented — capable of designing and optimizing campaigns in CRM and Marketing Automation platform (HubSpot) while engaging prospects and customers directly through inbound and outbound communications. This role serves as a critical link between marketing, sales, and operations, supporting national initiatives under GPO and IDN contracts and ensuring CRM excellence to support double-digit growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with leads (hospitals, surgery centers) through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to qualify prospects and move them through the sales funnel.

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers to drive retention and upsell opportunities.

Work closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and ensure a seamless transition to Regional Sales Managers and Sales Reps.

Use HubSpot to track interactions, update lead statuses, and forecast sales opportunities.

Schedule demos, clinical in-services, and follow-up calls in coordination with the Head of National Sales, Regional Sales Managers and Clinical Educators.

Support quotation requests, cross-reference matching, tender submissions, and distributor communications.

Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers to promote retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.

Marketing Automation

Develop, execute, and manage marketing automation campaigns and workflows using HubSpot.

Create and optimize email marketing campaigns, landing pages, and lead nurturing sequences to drive engagement and conversions.

Segment audiences based on region, clinical specialty, and GPO/IDN affiliation (Vizient, Premier, HealthTrust, etc.) to deliver targeted messaging.

Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights to improve ROI and conversion rates.

Maintain data integrity within the CRM system, ensuring accurate lead scoring, tracking, and reporting.

Collaborate with the marketing team and sales leadership to align automation strategies with overall sales & marketing goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Contracting team, Regional Sales Managers and Field Representatives, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.

Provide feedback to marketing and sales leadership on lead quality, campaign performance, and market trends.

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging marketing technologies to inform strategy.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – examples

Qualified Leads Generated: Monthly and quarterly targets met or exceeded.

Lead Response Time: Respond to new leads within 5 hours of initial contact.

Customer Retention Rate: Maintain a customer retention rate of 85% or higher for accounts managed.

Sales Support Efficiency: Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, English, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline.

3–5 years of experience in inside sales, marketing operations, or CRM automation (preferably in medical device or B2B healthcare environment).

Understanding of U.S. hospital supply chain structure and GPO/IDN frameworks.

Physical Demands
