Aviata Health Group is looking for a qualified Traveling Director of Nursing (DON) to support facilities in Florida. Must live in Florida and be willing to travel throughout the state. Requires at least 3 years of Director of Nursing experience in long term/skilled nursing. The DON will be responsible for the overall clinical management of a facility and will join a team-focused, resident- and family-oriented culture that aims to build a strong nursing leadership presence. Lead and direct the overall clinical operations and provide full-time clinical oversight and accountability for the assigned facility. Provide coverage, stabilization, and onboarding support during vacancies and leadership transitions. Assess clinical systems and processes at the care center to ensure compliance with company practices. Lead clinical management staff and consultants in developing and executing a business plan focusing on clinical operations, setting priorities, assigning responsibilities, monitoring activities, communicating policies, evaluating performance, and providing feedback; coach and discipline as needed. Conduct clinical leadership evaluations of department heads to identify development needs and create improvement plans. Develop and implement innovative ideas to improve systems and processes and build a successful management team. Minimum Qualifications

RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university. Current, unencumbered RN license; state-specific licensing may not be required for non-director roles, as applicable. Minimum five (5) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care. Restorative or geriatric nursing experience preferred. Proven track record in performance management and effective leadership. Current CPR certification. Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays and extended periods.
