Century Group is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Consultant with strong General Ledger experience to support one of our financial services clients during a critical three-month engagement. This role offers a great opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to leverage their expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $45.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities
Manage and reconcile General Ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, providing key financial insights and adjustments.
Support financial analysis and reporting, collaborating with internal teams to optimize accounting operations.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data to maintain integrity and accuracy.
Provide expert guidance on accounting best practices and recommend process improvements.
Requirements
Hold a CPA certification or possess equivalent accounting experience.
Demonstrate proven expertise in General Ledger accounting, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
Maintain a strong understanding of financial services industry standards and best practices.
Adapt quickly and deliver value-driven solutions within a short-term contract setting.
