Overview
Estimating Professional (Data Centers) at Jacobs. This role is part of the Advanced Manufacturing team within People & Places Solutions. You will serve as a leader and technical expert in estimating, primarily focusing on Data Centers, while also supporting other client types such as industrial, chemical, pulp & paper, general manufacturing, electric vehicles, and pharmaceutical facilities. You will develop and execute the strategy and plan for estimating activities that support the overall proposal strategy, coordinate with project team members, review and interpret RFPs or project contracts, identify risk areas, participate in mitigation planning, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced design and estimating personnel. Our goal is to deliver cost-effective and transformative projects by leveraging design, digital technology, and our Global Integrated Delivery capabilities. Responsibilities
Lead and act as a technical expert in estimating for Data Center projects and related facilities. Develop and execute estimating strategy and plan to support the overall proposal. Coordinate with project team members to align deliverables with estimating needs. Review and contribute to interpretation of RFPs or project contracts; identify risk and participate in mitigation planning. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced design and estimating personnel. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Jacobs to maximize value for clients. Qualifications
Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in estimating for industrial project execution or a project management role on industrial projects. Estimating and construction experience in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines in Data Centers. Experience with Cost-OS, Sage Estimating (Timberline) or similar estimating software platforms. Understanding of estimating organizational structure and process, including quantity takeoff, crew development, productivity relationships, material quotations, contingency/risk, markup structures, and estimate documentation. Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management or related technical field (preferred). Professional experience in markets such as EV/Batteries or Specialty Chemicals (preferred). Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis using software such as @Risk and Monte Carlo; experience with Aspen CCE or similar parametric tools. Active membership in a professional association such as AACE or PMI (preferred). Benefits and other details

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $135,075.00 per year. Individual pay is determined by work location and other factors such as skills, experience, and education.
