Job Summary As a Data Center Estimating Professional on the Advanced Manufacturing team, you will serve as a leader and technical expert in estimating for data centers and related industrial projects. You will develop and execute estimating strategies, coordinate with project teams, review proposals and contracts, identify risk areas, and mentor less experienced personnel.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute estimation strategy and plan for data center and industrial projects.
Coordinate deliverables with project team members and maintain estimating deliverables.
Review and interpret RFPs, contracts, and project scopes, identifying risks and recommending mitigation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to design and estimating personnel.
Support cross‑functional global teams to maximize design, digital technology, and support capabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum ten years of progressive estimating experience for industrial or project management of industrial projects.
Experience in mechanical and electrical disciplines within data centers.
Proficiency in estimating software such as Cost‑OS, Sage Estimating (Timberline), or similar.
Deep understanding of estimating processes, quantity takeoff, crew development, productivity relationships, material pricing, contingency/risk, markup structures, and documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or related field.
Professional experience in EV/Batteries or Specialty Chemicals markets.
Proficiency in quantitative risk analysis tools such as @Risk, Monte Carlo, and Aspen CCE or similar parametric tools.
Active membership in AACE, PMI, or similar professional association.
