Overview / Responsibilities The C4I Communications Systems Analyst provides C4I systems expertise in troubleshooting/issue resolution, diagnostics of tactical communications and networks, and C4I system set-up, maintenance, upgrades, and configuration management for fielded C4I systems. The analyst contributes to efforts to streamline data analysis/collection efforts, maximizes technology to optimize data validation processes, and participates in continuous process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate, maintain and improve the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Afloat Baseline (MAB) in conjunction with NAVSEA, PEO C4I, OPNAV N2/N6, Fleet Forces Command, Naval Cyber Forces, Naval Network Warfare Command, and Navy Fleet organizations.
Perform a configuration management analysis of afloat C4I resources and maintain the C4 configuration baseline status of Navy and embarked force spaces.
Maintain amphibious and Maritime Prepositioned Ships (MPS) availability schedules to support Blue-in-Support-of Green systems and equipment installation.
Collect data to create a comprehensive list of integrated and interoperable C4 systems and associated software for Marine Corps operational forces and related program offices.
Assess feasibility of Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) program offices providing technical SMEs for USMC C4 MAGTF and Final Integration Testing events; coordinate with MEF DGSIT coordinators.
Document and track resolution of DGSIT systems integration and interoperability issues; draft all DGSIT event support documentation.
Interact with users and vendors; serve as the information resource for client users; provide training on system usage as applicable.
Remain knowledgeable of operations and computer systems within the client environment to provide comprehensive support.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Active DoD SECRET Clearance.
4+ years' experience with Naval/Marine Corps C4I systems, preferably shipboard, MEU.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with superiors, colleagues, and staff.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally.
Ability to work onsite daily in Stafford/Quantico.
Desired Qualifications
6+ years of experience equivalent to USMC (MOS O6XX/28XX) or Navy Communications.
Knowledge of DGSIT coordination; understanding of MCSC.
Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) experience.
