Are you passionate about making a lasting impact in the lives of children and adolescents? MBI Health Services, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
School-Based Therapist
to join our team of mental health professionals providing support directly within local schools.
As a School-Based Therapist, you will deliver critical mental health services to students at designated school sites, helping them navigate emotional challenges, improve resilience, and thrive academically and socially. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working in collaborative, education-focused settings and want to be part of a mission-driven organization committed to whole-person care.
You’ll provide therapy, maintain a caseload, conduct assessments, and collaborate with school staff to support the well-being of students and their families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collecting information about consumers through interviews, tests, and evaluation of day-to-day functioning within work, family and other routines.
Identifying areas needing continued support, resources and treatment in order to assist consumers.
Preparing and completing diagnostic and bio-psychological assessments, clinical notes, referrals, treatment plans of clients as appropriate.
Maintaining confidentiality of records relating to consumers' treatment.
Provides therapy; maintains assigned caseload.
Provide 25 or more billable hours per week.
Works with Clinical Managers and other multi-disciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans/assessments for clients.
Creates appropriate case management notes and input into systems as needed.
Perform other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Masters degree in social work, Psychology, or related field
Must be licensed in Washington DC as LGSW, LPC, LICSW or LMFT
1-3 years of Mental Health experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Additional Information
Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $72,000 per year
