Cardiac Sonographer - Days

Endeavor Health Location: Swedish Hospital, Chicago Position highlights include a sign-on bonus and full-time schedule with hours Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with rotating weekends and holidays. Salary and Schedule
Hourly Pay Range $33.35 - $51.69. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. What You Will Need
Associates in Applied Science degree is required. Coursework should include ultrasound physics, anatomy and physiology, electrocardiography, cardiovascular pathophysiology, cardiovascular hemodynamic principles, cardiac history-taking, and key aspects of cardiorespiratory physical diagnosis. At least 6 months in 2-D and M-Mode echocardiography is preferred. License/Certification
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification required. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) license through ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, RDCS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 2 years of start date. Responsibilities
Reviews all requests for echocardiography procedures, consults with Medical Director of the Echocardiography Lab, and schedules patients. Performs echocardiographic procedures as requested, including 2-D M-Mode, Doppler/Color Flow, and Dobutamine Stress Echo. Expedites completion of each procedure and ensures an exam worksheet is completed accurately and given to the interpreting physician. Other duties as assigned by Manager, Cardiology Services or Lead Cardiac Sonographer. Benefits
