You Are The Enterprise Release Manager (Production Releases) plays a critical role in ensuring smooth, controlled, and reliable delivery of application and infrastructure changes into production environments. This position oversees end-to-end release management processes, ensuring quality, governance, and coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders.
The Opportunity
Lead and manage the release management lifecycle, including intake processes through tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
Oversee release intake, conflict resolution, change deconfliction, and the creation of release packages to prevent production outages.
Maintain a clear and auditable record of release approvals, artifacts, and timelines.
Serve as the central coordination point between development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure release readiness and smooth deployments.
Continuously evaluate and improve release processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and control.
Coordinate closely with application teams to ensure deployment packages, rollback plans, and validation steps are prepared and approved before release execution.
Lead release bridge calls during deployment events, managing activities, monitoring progress, tracking timelines, and driving issue triage in real time.
Ensure deployment events follow pre-approved plans, with minimal business impact and strong incident preparedness.

What You Need
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of IT experience, with at least 4+ years in release management or production operations in an enterprise-scale environment.
Hands-on experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
Strong understanding of change and incident management processes (ITIL framework).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent releases in a complex, high-availability production environment.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

$88,000-$132,000
Benefits Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as additional Company-paid benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.
Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
