Basic Qualifications

Must currently hold an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science. Other related degree field with significant software development experience

Experience with embedded development using a real‑time operating system

Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical embedded software systems/programs

Process Improvement and Affordability experience

Software engineering Management or Software engineering Team Lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring

MFC is looking for an Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager that will be responsible for the management and development of their team, support of department initiatives and directorate undertakings, and driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution.

What You Will Be Doing

Management and development of the team

Providing technical coaching and mentoring, work assignments, employee career development, continuous ongoing feedback, and being their employees advocate in opportunity discussions

Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities

Coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessments, salary planning, recognition/disciplinary actions, and engineering competency development

Supporting program development, execution of program requirements, adherence to engineering development processes, promoting customer focus, and serving as the technical conscience for their program

It is possible that travel will be required to both customer and supplier sites and may involve travel within and outside the Continental United States (CONUS).

Location This position is onsite in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Security Clearance Information Secret clearance is required and the candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

Pay Statement (National) National Pay Statement – Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 – $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
