Exchange Administrator Position Summary: Our company is looking to hire an Exchange Administrator to support an enterprise hybrid environment of Exchange 2019/SE and M365 environments on both unclassified and classified networks, supporting over 260,000 users across multiple AD domains. The messaging environment comprises Microsoft Exchange mail services, Microsoft 365, NetApp backup and restore solutions, and UnitySync directory synchronization services. The underlying On-Prem infrastructure consists of VMware Virtualization and NetApp storage solutions. The team member will use their expertise in messaging and directory services to configure aspects of and provide messaging support to the Microsoft Enterprise Exchange environment. They will assist with all phases of planning, documentation, installation, management, monitoring, and troubleshooting to maintain a high-availability Exchange environment. Clearance Eligibility:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the overall health of technologies associated with the Enterprise Messaging environment. Provides Microsoft Enterprise Exchange operational configuration management support. Provides Microsoft 365 Exchange operational configuration support. Resolves Tier III messaging tickets. Configures Antivirus products as they relate to Exchange Servers. Performs M365 eDiscovery/Content searches and provides data to authorized personnel by direction. Provides guidance and instruction (including written documentation), such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and inputs into the knowledge management system repository to the service desk for handling standard message-related incidents and service requests. Provides documentation, guidance, and instruction to the Tier I and Tier II service desks for handling standard Messaging-related incidents, work orders, and service requests. Monitors the health of Messaging systems with the provided event management tools. Implements monitoring tools, thresholds, and conducts proactive event remediation. Ensures that any latency is identified and mitigated/remediated upon discovery in accordance with required response times. Monitors the availability of system upgrades. Provides analysis and remediation for DISA STIG for all responsible technologies in preparation for annual CCRI. COMPETENCIES: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Aptitude to address negative situations and positively resolve them. Education and Certification Requirements: Professional series Certification (e.g., MCSE [AD or Exchange], MCITP [AD or Exchange]). IAT III - (CISA, GCIH, GCED, CCNP Security, CASP, or CISSP [Associate]). Background and Experience: 7 years of related experience with Microsoft Exchange. Required Technical Skills: Exchange 2019 Experience with Office 365 Preferred Technical Skills: Experience with Exchange 2019/Subscription Edition (SE) and Microsoft 365 PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: General office environment. Work is generally sedentary but may require movement about the office for up to 10% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate. No hazardous or unpleasant conditions. Contractor site with 0-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. Occasional movement of small articles up to 10 lbs. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Continually operate a computer and other office productivity machinery. Occasionally required to move oneself in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments. Continually required to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
