Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Crisis Counselor in Hampton, VA, and provide crucial support and crisis stabilization to individuals during pivotal moments in their lives. This role offers on-site interaction and opportunities to contribute to recovery and community placement efforts. Responsibilities, qualifications, and the application process are described below. Responsibilities

Conduct needs assessments and provide independent living skills training. Perform crisis intervention and support to facilitate community placement and recovery. Maintain accurate documentation and monitor individual progress while adhering to legal guidelines (HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2). Establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within a team, including in high-pressure situations. Utilize computer skills to prepare and maintain detailed client records and documentation. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling). At least one year of experience providing behavioral health services to adults with serious mental illnesses or emotional impairments. Must be registered with the Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A or commit to registering as a QMHP-Trainee within the first month of employment. Proficiency with relevant software and tools to support documentation and therapeutic activities. Must have a valid Driver's License. Application and Process
