Compensation:

$49+/hour (equivalent to ~$102,000+/year)

About the Role Our client, a leading consumer brand with a growing digital presence, is seeking a UX Content Strategist/Writer to help redesign and elevate their native mobile app experience (iOS/Android). This role blends UX writing, content strategy, and marketing expertise to ensure every word across digital touchpoints is purposeful, user-centered, and aligned with brand voice. You’ll help craft the next generation of customer-facing content while improving documentation and governance across design systems.

What You’ll Do

Write clear, concise microcopy for interfaces (buttons, menus, tooltips, error messages) that enhances usability and flow.

Maintain and evolve voice and tone guidelines balancing usability with brand personality.

Collaborate closely with designers, developers, product managers, and marketing teams for consistency across app and site.

Contribute to the redesign of the native app experience with a focus on tone, presentation, and storytelling.

Build and maintain centralized content documentation, workflows, and governance guidelines.

Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Accessibility teams to meet WCAG and inclusivity standards.

Support design system documentation to ensure consistency in tone, interaction, and structure.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or content strategy.

Proven ability to write user-focused copy for digital products.

Strong understanding of UX principles, content strategy, and information architecture.

Familiarity with Figma and experience working within design systems.

Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) standards and inclusive design.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to influence across teams.

Marketing and go-to-market experience preferred; experience in enterprise or retail environments a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
