Position Electrical Engineer I/II/III — Houston, TX
Responsibilities
Provide electrical engineering support to Facilities Engineering and Construction project teams.
Contribute to all phases of electrical design, testing, and commissioning.
Review P&IDs, electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, power and load studies, electrical bills of materials, and equipment specifications.
Create and review facility electrical specifications and procurement data sheets.
Oversee field installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment required for facility operation.
Frequent short-term travel (1–3 days) is required.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
5 years of engineering experience in relevant industries.
Experience with development or review of facility P&IDs.
Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams, contractors, agency personnel, and the public.
Ability to travel for project-related activities (3–5 days).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
0–3 years of Project Management experience at a midstream operating company.
0–5 years of engineering experience.
Contract execution and conformance experience.
Experience preparing and managing project scopes, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and contracts.
Experience with the design and planning of natural gas or pipeline liquids facilities and equipment.
Experience with FERC and PHMSA or other federal permitting processes.
Experience managing environmental permitting for linear infrastructure under NEPA, USACE, USFWS, and state agencies.
Experience with public relations and representing the company in public meetings, landowner discussions, and agency consultations.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
