Leverages current systems to optimize, maintain, and transform processes, and utilizes research plans to verify new/existing business operating models according to the supply chain future state. Organizes results from supplier audits, performs corrective actions based on identified needs, facilitates business reviews, and monitors results related to utilization, quality, inventory levels, and courier routes for projects while assessing customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Pursue effective relationships by sharing resources, information, and knowledge with coworkers and team members. Perform asset accounting tasks with guidance; record dispositions in the accounting system; apply policies to ensure accountability for asset misuse; identify cost reduction opportunities. Ensure ongoing quality customer services by resolving standard issues related to vendors/suppliers, billing, and merchandise; address backorder problems, delivery delays, repairs, returns; prepare standard reports for customers with guidance. Maintain adequate levels of inventory by resolving receipt issues, coordinating distribution, and administering transactions; forecast demand to minimize obsolescence; manage automated inventory systems; ensure proper stock rotation and accuracy; collaborate to maintain the inventory control system. Maintain and improve supply chain operations by supporting shipping logistics, carrier evaluations, and inventory system assessments; assist with research plans to define end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and logistics as part of broader organizational goals. Facilitate purchasing strategy aligned with the national sourcing strategy; process standard purchase requests; source substitute items when needed; provide information for standardization and cost-saving opportunities. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies related to purchasing, inventory, and distribution; solicit quotations for stock and non-standard items; produce standard compliance reports and audits; implement corrective actions as needed. Manage supplier/vendor performance and relationships; onboard new suppliers/vendors; support contract administration and corrective actions following audits; conduct business reviews to meet operational and cost targets. Provide technical analysis and reporting services by supporting analyses on utilization, quality, inventory levels, and courier routes; administer customer service survey tools to assess satisfaction and gather feedback; prepare analyses and reports to support business decisions. Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year of experience with databases and spreadsheets, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Material Management, Operations Research, or related field OR minimum three (3) years of experience in Materials and Inventory Control/Management, Logistics, Finance, Distribution, or a related field.
