Role Overview
Sodexo is hiring for an Executive Chef 2 at Wilmington Hospital, located in Wilmington, DE. This is a 350 bed hospital, and serves as ChristianCare's corporate headquarters. The Executive Chef 2 will lead a team of culinarians, and support food services for patient meals, catering, and retail areas.
ChristianaCare is a nonprofit teaching health system with more than 300 residents and fellows. With its groundbreaking Center for Virtual Health and a focus on population health and value-based care, ChristianaCare is shaping the future of healthcare.

What You’ll Do
lead a team of culinarians to provide high quality meals and food service
maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements
effectively coach, mentor, and train staff
prepare orders and maintain appropriate inventory
bring innovative and fresh ideas for retail, catering and patient services
cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital
What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. What You Bring
strong knowledge of HACCP
high end catering and dining experience and a passion for culinary arts
a production culinary background, ideally in a fast paced environment: up-scale restaurant/retail/catering
Healthcare experience preferred
culinary training and certifications/education is a plus

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
