Overview
The School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies (SIGS) at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a 9-month, full-time, tenure-earning Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics position. The successful candidate will publish original research in the field of Comparative Politics and teach four courses per year (2/2 semester schedule). The start date is August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable and dependent upon qualification and experience. Responsibilities
Publish original research in Comparative Politics (broadly understood). Teach four courses per year (2/2 semester schedule). Submit application materials as described below. Qualifications
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Political Science or a closely related field. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by the appointment start date. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. Application Materials
