Location: 4202 East Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL, 33620
Position: 9‑month, full‑time, tenure‑earning Assistant Professor in Early Modern European History. Start date: August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable.
Responsibilities
Teach two courses per semester, including general education survey, upper‑level courses, and seminars for undergraduate and graduate students.
Qualifications
Doctoral degree in History from an accredited institution, conferred by the start date.
Research that explores themes of transregional exchange, global circulation, communications networks, migration, or diaspora.
Meeting University of South Florida criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
Preferred: university‑level teaching experience and scholarly publications.
