Overview Fabrication leadership role focused on the Regulated Materials Distribution (RMD) and Motor Equipment Operators (MEO) business unit, primarily located in Auburn, Washington, with teams in Auburn and Frederickson. Responsibilities include Hazmat distribution, paint mixing, resin, kitting requirements, and Hazmat & MEO compliance across the Auburn & Frederickson Fabrication sites.
Responsibilities
Lead by example and hold all team members accountable to Boeing values and behaviors.
Lead, develop, and motivate employees and first-level managers.
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, foster cross-functional alignment, identify key demand drivers, and enhance forecasting methods and accuracy.
Develop statistical forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and demand indicators; maintain optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while controlling costs.
Manage employees across multiple supply chain and manufacturing disciplines (Warehouse, Paint Mix/Resin/Kitting, Chemical Management Services, MEO) and multiple work streams.
Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, procedures, and contribute to business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements.
Maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.
Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
5+ years of experience in demand management and planning
Understanding of the S&OP process
5+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Fulfillment
5+ years of experience leading and developing teams to execute safety, compliance, quality and cost goals
5+ years of experience analyzing and applying metrics to enable key business decisions and process improvements
5+ years of experience establishing relationships and ongoing communication with customers, suppliers and/or vendors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Operations
Experience leading demand and supply planning
3+ years of Hazmat experience
3+ years of coaching, guiding and mentoring teams
3+ years of experience working within a cross-functional organizational environment
Additional Details Target Pay Summary: $147,000 - $172,000
