Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM, Overtime available Location:
Various sites in the Chicagoland area Pay:
$35–$45 / hour (based on experience) + performance-based bonuses Key Responsibilities
Install and maintain electrical systems for residential and commercial PV solar projects. Safely bend and install rigid conduits up to 2" using hand tools, hydraulic benders, and power equipment. Read and interpret single-line diagrams and construction sets to complete installations accurately. Run DC/AC circuits, install battery backup systems, EV chargers, and perform residential service upgrades. Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA standards, and local regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, collaborating with inspectors as needed. Maintain accurate documentation, materials, tools, and vehicle upkeep. Adhere to Fresh Coast Solar’s high standards for safety and workmanship. Requirements
3+ years of electrical installation, troubleshooting, and repair experience (required). Knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes (3+ years required). Residential solar installation experience (preferred). Previous experience supervising projects and team members. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Comfortable working on rooftops, at heights, in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor weather conditions. Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multitask.
